Domaine de Belliviere Les Rosiers (Blanc) 2017

Les Rosiers cuvée from the Domaine de Bellivière is made on clay soils with flint on tufa. The vines are grown on four soils spread over two communes. The choice of terroir is made according to the type of clay and the proportion of the clay and clay-siliceous complex. The wine is made naturally in barrels of one, two and three wines, then the wine is aged for a year. Manually harvested grapes produce a yield of 25 to 35 hl / ha. Led by Christine and Eric Nicolas, the Domaine de Bellivière is characterized by the biodynamic agriculture of all its vineyards: growing vines without using weeding, harvesting exclusively hand-made and small yields (harvesting the most beautiful and more mature fruits).
Tasting Notes Made
from 100% chenin grapes with moderate yields, this wine has a pale yellow color. The aroma is marked by a discreet presence of sloe and peach with spicy and sweet notes and a touch of minerality. On the palate, this minerality is characterized by a fruity and expressive taste with a lingering finish. This wine offers a nice balance that reveals the presence of residual sugars.
